Senland

Ireland1

“Everyone is sociable until a cow invades his garden.”

Senland is an island to the west of Great Celtannia, separated by the Sennish Sea.

The island is in a clamorous state of affairs right now. It is included under the United Kingdoms banner, but not entirely by choice; Sennish nationalism has been rising for over a century, most recently expressed via a growing hatred of the monarchy and aristocracy, a religious rebellion away from the Valiopan Church, and a clamor for sovereignty and governmental reform. There’s a strong socialist movement, especially in the southern part of the island, and there are many voices calling for an independent republic apart from the Kingdoms. One uprising has been violently put down in the last year, but it seems likely that more will follow.

As for the people of Senland, they tend to be strong-willed, opinionated, and disproportionately red-haired.
