AF - Cornelius Erasmus Augustus
Patriarch of the Augustus family, and the very model of a modern Dunnish gentleman.
None could call Cornelius warm. But nor would they call him undignified or weak. He takes his position as a nobleman seriously, and the example of rationalism, intelligent decision-making, and chiefly dignity is the most important thing the noble class can offer to the rest of Dunland. The role of model to the rest of the state is vital, Cornelius thinks; the noble class is a beacon for what the citizens of the state (and all states) should be. But they are also, of course, the ideal decision makers for the state, and as such Cornelius has taken it upon himself to be involved in the future of Dunland, principally spreading the Dunnish way of life to the rest of the world. To that end, he has fostered relationships with the great men of other states in the eastern continent. It is, foremost, a matter of duty, but also one of pleasure.
