Science

Science is exactly what you expect – the rigorous system by which one can come to know the world. There are still things beyond the reach of the modern world’s tools, such as a comprehensive knowledge of how magic functions, but so far it has proved an exceptionally useful methodology for accurately describing the universe.

As such, magic, faith and science are hardly at odds with one another, and often complement one another quite well, even though some people of faith and the occasional mage will argue that they are oppositional, or fail to intersect. Still, modern scientists are sure that there is an internal logic to the faerie, to magic (as most wizards have been arguing for a very long time), and even to the divine (if it/they exist, as some question).
